INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:

When replacing the parking assist ECU, perform initialization of the front television camera.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PARKING ASSIST ECU - FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA)


(a) Disconnect the F37 ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the A43 camera connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GVIF CABLE)

(a) Replace the harness and connector (GVIF cable).

(a) Clear the DTCs PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: WIDE VIEW FRONT MONITOR SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

(b) Recheck for DTCs PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: WIDE VIEW FRONT MONITOR SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

OK:

DTC 5C-40 is not output.
