DESCRIPTION

This is the power source for the motors.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE


1. INSPECT FUSE (TI & TE FUSE)
  1. Remove the TI & TE fuse from the instrument panel J/B.

  1. Check the continuity of the TI & TE fuse.

    OK:
    There is continuity.



NG
REPLACE FUSE
OK


2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN MULTIPLEX TILT & TELESCOPIC ECU AND BATTERY)

  1. C106463E24
    Disconnect the T4 connector from the multiplex tilt & telescopic ECU.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Voltage:
    Tester connection
    (Terminal No.)
    Condition
    Specified value
    +B (T4-2) - Body ground
    Always
    10 to 14 V

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK


3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BETWEEN MULTIPLEX TILT & TELESCOPIC ECU AND BODY GROUND)

  1. C106463E25
    Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    Tester connection
    (Terminal No.)
    Condition
    Specified value
    GND (T4-11) - Body ground
    Always
    Below 1 Ω

OK
