REMOVAL

Removal / installation


1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag working (Click here).


2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  1. B111782
    Disengage the 6 claws and 4 clips, and remove the front door scuff plate.

  1. Disconnect the connector. (w/ illumination scuff plate)


3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  1. B111783
    Disengage the 4 claws and 2 clips, and remove the rear door scuff plate.

  1. Disconnect the connector. (w/ illumination scuff plate)


5. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

6. REMOVE LAP BELT OUTER ANCHOR COVER

  1. B115711E01
    Disengage the 2 claws and remove the lap belt outer anchor cover.


7. DISCONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the floor side of the front seat outer belt assembly.


8. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER

  1. B111788
    Disengage the 3 claws and 2 clips, and remove the center pillar garnish lower.


9. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH

  1. B111789
    Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Disengage the clip and remove the center pillar garnish by pulling it down.


10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.

  1. Remove the nut and disengage the shoulder side of the front seat outer belt assembly.

  1. B112617
    Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button in the direction shown by the arrow to release the lock, and disconnect the pretensioner connector.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Disconnect the tension reducer connector.

    Remove the 2 bolts and front seat outer belt assembly.
