INSPECT FRONT SEAT HEATER CONTROL LH

  1. B113097E01
    Disconnect the front seat heater control connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    LHD:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    S33-6 - Body ground
    		 Always
    		 Below 1 Ω
    RHD:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    S34-6 - Body ground
    		 Always
    		 Below 1 Ω

    If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Voltage:
    LHD:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    S33-1 - S33-6
    		 Ignition switch ON and driver side seat heater switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    S33-4 - S33-6
    		 Ignition switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    S33-5 - S33-6
    		 Ignition switch ON and driver side seat heater switch ON
    		 1 to 13 V
    RHD:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    S34-1 - S34-6
    		 Ignition switch ON and driver side seat heater switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    S34-4 - S34-6
    		 Ignition switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    S34-5 - S34-6
    		 Ignition switch ON and driver side seat heater switch ON
    		 1 to 13 V

    If the result is not as specified, repair or replace seat heater switch circuit.


INSPECT FRONT SEAT HEATER CONTROL RH

    Disconnect the front seat heater control connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    LHD:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    S34-6 - Body ground
    		 Always
    		 Below 1 Ω
    RHD:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    S33-6 - Body ground
    		 Always
    		 Below 1 Ω

    If the result is not as specified, repair or replace the wire harness or connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Voltage:
    LHD:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    S34-1 - S34-6
    		 Ignition switch ON and front passenger side seat heater switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    S34-4 - S34-6
    		 Ignition switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    S34-5 - S34-6
    		 Ignition switch ON and front passenger side seat heater switch ON
    		 1 to 13 V
    RHD:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    S33-1 - S33-6
    		 Ignition switch ON and front passenger side seat heater switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    S33-4 - S33-6
    		 Ignition switch ON
    		 10 to 14 V
    S33-5 - S33-6
    		 Ignition switch ON and front passenger side seat heater switch ON
    		 1 to 13 V

    If the result is not as specified, repair or replace seat heater switch circuit.
