AFS OFF Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The AFS ECU receives a signal from the AFS OFF switch.

WIRING DIAGRAM

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT AFS OFF SWITCH

1. Disconnect the AFS OFF switch connector.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Resistance:

   Tester connection	Condition	Specified resistance
   1 - 2	AFS OFF switch is pushed	Below 1 Ω
   1 - 2	AFS OFF switch is not pushed	10 kΩ or higher

NG	REPLACE AFS OFF SWITCH

OK

2. INSPECT AFS ECU

1. Disconnect the AFS ECU connector.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Resistance:

   Tester connection	Condition	Specified condition
   A17-4 - Body ground	AFS OFF switch is pushed	Below 1 Ω
   A17-4 - Body ground	AFS OFF switch is not pushed	10 kΩ or higher

NG	REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK
PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
