DESCRIPTION
This circuit detects the state of the ignition switch and send it to the AFS ECU.WIRING DIAGRAM


INSPECTION PROCEDURE
| 1. INSPECT FUSE |
Inspect the ECU-IG No.2 fuse and AM1 fuse in the instrument panel junction block assembly.
- Resistance:
- Below 1 Ω

| 2. INSPECT RELAY |
Remove the IG1 relay from the instrument panel J/B assembly.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Resistance:
Tester connection

Specified resistance
3 - 5
Always
10 kΩ or higher

Apply B+ between the terminal 1 and 2
Below 1 Ω

| 3. INSPECT AFS ECU |
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

A17-12 (IGS) - A17-1 (E1)
Ignition switch OFF → ON

Disconnect the A17 connector from headlight swivel ECU assembly.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
