B2763 S+B line is short circuited
Diagnostic trouble codes
DESCRIPTION
The intrusion sensor (theft warning sensor) detects any moving object by using ultrasonic waves and outputs the signals to inform the multiplex network body ECU of an intrusion, so that the theft deterrent system can set off the alarm. When the theft deterrent system is switching to the arming preparation state, the intrusion sensor is supplied with S+B by the multiplex network body ECU. This causes the theft deterrent system to set off the alarm when the signal is output from the intrusion sensor in a situation such as when the window glass is broken.
This DTC is output when the S+B line, which is the power supply line to the sensor, is short circuited.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
| 1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (THEFT WARNING SENSOR ASSEMBLY - MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) |
Disconnect the O2 light connector and B7 ECU connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Resistance:
Symbol (Tester Connection)
Specified Condition
SIG (O2-9) - B7-11 (S+B)
Below 1 Ω
SIG (O2-9) - Body ground
10 kΩ or higher
