Inspect the brake drum for any scratches, uneven or abnormal wear. Minor items may be corrected by sanding lightly. The maximum drum inner diameter is 9.06 inch (230.1 mm) on 1993–94 323, 626, 929, MX3, MX6, Miata, Protege and 1995 MX3. It is 7.933 inches (201.5mm) on other models.
