- Raise and support the vehicle safely. Remove the
tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove the brake drum and brake shoes.
- Disconnect and plug the brake line.
- Remove the stud nuts and bolt attaching the wheel
cylinder to the backing plate, and remove the wheel cylinder.
- Installation is the reverse of removal. Torque the
mounting bolts to 86.9-112 in. lbs. (9.81-12.7 Nm). Be sure to bleed the
system after installation.
