After finishing the service procedures, remove the tape, then reconnect the negative battery cable. Turn the ignition to the ON position and check to make sure the SRS warning light illuminates for 7 seconds and then turns off. If so, the system is operating properly. If not, you should take your vehicle to a reputable repair shop for diagnosis.
