REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

1. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly.
3. Pull the drum from the hub and bearing assembly.
4. If the drum is difficult to remove, thread bolts into the drum to remove it from the hub and bearing.

   Fig. 2: . . . in order to pull the brake drum from the hub and bearing assembly

5. Once the drum is removed, inspect for damage and/or wear and replace or refinish as necessary.

   To install:

6. Position the brake drum over the hub and bearing assembly.
7. Install the wheel and tire assembly, then carefully lower the vehicle.
