CONTROL ARM BUSHING REPLACEMENT

Rear

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the lower control arm.
4. Using tool MB991522 press out the bushing

   To install:

5. Position the bushing with the larger end facing the front of the vehicle.
6. Using tool MB991522 press the bushing into the bracket.
7. Install the lower control arm.
8. Install the wheel.

Front

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the lower control arm and place in a vise.
4. Using tool MB990883 remove the bushing

   To install:

5. Position the bushing with the larger end facing the front of the vehicle.

   NOTE: Coat the bushing with a soap solution and take care not to twist.

6. Using tool MB991522, press the bushing into the bracket.
7. Install the lower control arm.
8. Install the wheel.
