Compressor & Tension Pulley

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Properly discharge the refrigerant.
2. Remove the Tension Pulley.
3. To remove the Generator and A/C Compressor Drive Belt, loosen the nut holding the tension pulley then loosen the adjustment bolt and remove the Generator and Compressor Drive Belt.
4. Disconnect the harness connector.
5. Disconnect the suction hose.
6. Discharge the hose connection.

   CAUTION
   During this procedure, make sure not to spill the compressor oil.

7. Remove the compressor.
8. Remove the compressor bracket.
9. Remove the tension pulley bracket.

To Install:

1. Install the tension pulley bracket.

   CAUTION
   During this procedure, make sure not to spill the compressor oil.

2. Install the compressor bracket.
3. Install the compressor.
4. Connect the suction hose.
5. Connect the harness connector.
6. To install the Generator and A/C Compressor Drive Belt, tighten the adjustment bolt then tighten the nut holding the tension pulley.
7. Properly recharge the refrigerant.
