Heater Unit, Heater Core, Blower Assembly & Evaporator

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Drain coolant.
2. Remove the air cleaner cover and intake hose.
3. Properly discharge the refrigerant.
4. Remove the floor carpet front reinforcement.
5. Remove the ECU bracket.
6. Remove the center stay assembly.
7. Disconnect the heater hose connector.
8. Remove the center duct assembly.
9. Remove the foot distribution duct.
10. Disconnect the breather hose.
11. Disconnect the suction hose, liquid pipe, and cooling unit connector.
12. Disconnect the drain hose.
13. Remove the evaporator.
14. Remove the engine control module.
15. Remove the heater unit.
16. Remove the heater core support.
17. Remove the heater core.
18. Remove the blower assembly.

To Install:

1. Install the blower assembly.
2. Install the heater core.
3. Install the heater core support.
4. Install the heater unit.
5. Install the engine control module.
6. Install the evaporator.
7. Connect the drain hose.
8. Connect the suction hose, liquid pipe, and cooling unit connector.
9. Connect the breather hose.
10. Install the foot distribution duct.
11. Install the center duct assembly.
12. Connect the heater hose connector.
13. Install the center stay assembly.
14. Install the ECU bracket.
15. Install the floor carpet front reinforcement.
16. Properly charge the refrigerant.
17. Install the air cleaner cover and intake hose.
18. Fill coolant.
