Cylinder Head

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the cylinder head bolts.
2. Remove the washer.
3. Remove the cylinder head assembly.
4. Remove the cylinder head gasket.

To Install:

1. Install the cylinder head gasket.

2. Install the cylinder head assembly.
3. Install the washer.
4. Install the cylinder head bolts and tighten in the sequence shown. Each bolt should be tightened in 2 to 3 steps, torquing progressively. Tighten the bolts to 80 ft-lb (108 Nm) in the final sequence.
