Exhaust Manifold

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the front Exhaust Pipe.
2. Remove the Radiator.
3. Remove the Generator.
4. For removal on the left bank, do the following:
   • Step 1: Remove the heated oxygen sensor on the left bank front.
   • Step 2: Remove the heat protector.
   • Step 3: Remove the exhaust manifold and gasket.
5. For removal on the right bank, do the following:
   • Step 1: Remove the EGR pipe and gasket.
   • Step 2: Remove the heat protector.
   • Step 3: Remove the Catalytic Converter and gasket.
   • Step 4: Remove the exhaust manifold and gasket.
   • Step 5: Remove the heated oxygen sensor for the right bank front.
   • Step 6: Remove the heated oxygen sensor for the right bank rear.

To Install:

1. To install on the right bank, do the following:
   • Step 1: Install the heated oxygen sensor for the right bank rear.
   • Step 2: Install the heated oxygen sensor for the right bank front.
   • Step 3: Install the exhaust manifold and gasket.
   • Step 4: Install the Catalytic Converter and gasket.
   • Step 5: Install the heat protector.
   • Step 6: Install the EGR pipe and gasket.
2. To install on the left bank, do the following:
   • Step 1: Install the exhaust manifold and gasket.
   • Step 2: Install the heat protector.
   • Step 3: Install the heated oxygen sensor on the left bank front.
3. Install the Generator.
4. Install the Radiator.
5. Install the front Exhaust Pipe.
