Catalytic Converter

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the hanger and the Main Muffler assembly.
2. Remove the hanger bracket and the gasket.
3. Remove the rear floor heat protector panel.
4. Remove the hanger.
5. Remove the center Exhaust Pipe and gasket.
6. Remove the damper and hanger bracket.
7. Remove the harness protector.
8. Remove the catalytic converter and gasket.
9. Using a special tool (MD998770), remove the heated oxygen sensor on the left bank rear.
10. Remove the hanger.
11. Remove the front Exhaust Pipe and the gasket.
12. Remove the front floor heat protector.
13. Remove the front catalytic converter.
14. Using a special tool (MD998770), remove the heated oxygen sensor on the right bank front.
15. Using a special tool (MD998770), remove the heated oxygen sensor on the right bank rear.
16. Remove the rear catalytic converter.

To Install:

1. Install the rear catalytic converter.
2. Install the heated oxygen sensor on the right bank rear.
3. Install the heated oxygen sensor on the right bank front.
4. Install the front catalytic converter.
5. Install the front floor heat protector.
6. Install the front Exhaust Pipe and the gasket.
7. Install the hanger.
8. Install the heated oxygen sensor on the left bank rear.
9. Install the catalytic converter and gasket.
10. Install the harness protector.
11. Install the damper and hanger bracket.
12. Install the center Exhaust Pipe and gasket.
13. Install the hanger.
14. Install the rear floor heat protector panel.
15. Install the hanger bracket and the gasket.
16. Install the hanger and the Main Muffler assembly.
