Exhaust Pipe & Main Muffler

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

Exhaust pipe and muffler parts and torque specifications

  1. Remove hanger and the main muffler assembly.
  2. Remove hanger bracket.
  3. Remove gasket.
  4. Remove the rear floor heat protector panel.
  5. Remove hanger.
  6. Remove the center exhaust pipe and gasket.
  7. Remove the damper and the hanger bracket.
  8. Remove harness protector.
  9. Remove the Catalytic Converter and gasket.
  10. Remove the heated oxygen sensor (left bank rear).
  11. Remove hanger.
  12. Remove the front exhaust pipe and gasket.
  13. Remove the front floor heat protector.

To Install:

Exhaust pipe and muffler parts and torque specifications

  1. Install the front floor heat protector.
  2. Install the front exhaust pipe and gasket.
  3. Install hanger.
  4. Install the heated oxygen sensor (left bank rear).
  5. Install the Catalytic Converter and gasket.
  6. Install harness protector.
  7. Install the damper and the hanger bracket.
  8. Install the center exhaust pipe and gasket.
  9. Install hanger.
  10. Install the rear floor heat protector panel.
  11. Install gasket.
  12. Install the hanger bracket.
  13. Install the main muffler assembly and hanger.
