To Remove:
NOTE: If replacing only the fuel gauge unit assembly, you can work from the service holes underneath the rear seat cushion without having to remove the fuel tank.

- Safely and correctly drain the fuel.
- Properly reduce the pressure of the fuel line and hose.
- Disconnect the parking brake cable connection.
- Remove the fuel tank.
- Disconnect the harness connector.
- Disconnect the filler hose, the vapor hoses, the fuel return hose, and the high-pressure fuel hose.
- Remove the fuel pump and gauge assembly.
- Remove the fuel cut valve assembly.
- Remove the leveling valve.
- Remove the fuel filler cap and fuel filler neck assembly.
- Remove the separator assembly.
- Remove the fuel check valve assembly.
- Disconnect the fuel pipe.
- Remove the fuel filter assembly.
To Install:

- Install the fuel filter assembly.
- Connect the fuel pipe.
- Install the fuel check valve assembly.
- Install the separator assembly.
- Install the fuel filler cap and fuel filler neck assembly.
- Install the leveling valve.
- Install the fuel cut valve assembly.
- Install the fuel pump and gauge assembly.
- Connect the filler hose, the vapor hoses, the fuel return hose, and the high-pressure fuel hose.
- Connect the harness connector.
- Install the fuel tank.
- Connect the parking brake cable connection.
- Safely and properly refill with fuel.
- Check for any fuel leaks.
