Removal & Installation

2.4L Engine

To Remove:

1. Disconnect the spark plug cable.
2. Remove the Ignition Coil assembly.
3. Remove the spark plugs.
4. Remove the ignition failure sensor assembly.

To Install:

1. Install the ignition failure sensor assembly.
2. Install the spark plugs.
3. Install the Ignition Coil assembly.
4. Connect the spark plug cable.

3.8L Engine

To Remove:

1. Remove engine cover on left bank.
2. Remove intake manifold plenum on right bank.
3. Disconnect ignition coil connectors.
4. Remove ignition coils.
5. Remove spark plugs.

To Install:

1. Install spark plugs.
2. Install ignition coils.
3. Connect ignition coil connectors.
4. Install intake manifold plenum on right bank.
5. Install engine cover on left bank.
