Instrument Panel

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

CAUTION
Do not knock or bump the SRS control unit while working on the dashboard and related components.

  1. Remove the driver’s air bag module and clock spring.
  2. Remove the steering column cover.
  3. Remove the bezel and the instrument cluster.
  4. Remove the instrument panel ornament.
  5. Remove the under cover.
  6. Remove the switch panel.
  7. Remove the side box.
  8. Remove the lower frame.
  9. Remove the A/C-heater control unit.
  10. Remove the audio unit.
  11. Remove the center air outlet panel.
  12. Remove the center lower case.
  13. Remove the center lower panel if equipped.
  14. Remove the glove box assembly.
  15. Remove the harness cover.
  16. Remove the side cover.
  17. Remove the passenger’s air bag module.
  18. Remove the steering column shaft mounting bolts.
  19. Remove the steering wheel and shaft.
  20. Remove the instrument panel mounting bolts and the instrument panel.

To Install:

  1. Install the instrument panel in the vehicle.
  2. Install the steering wheel and shaft.
  3. Install the steering column shaft mounting bolts.
  4. Install the passenger’s air bag module.
  5. Install the side cover.
  6. Install the harness cover.
  7. Install the glove box assembly.
  8. Install the center lower panel if equipped.
  9. Install the center lower case.
  10. Install the center air outlet panel.
  11. Install the audio unit.
  12. Install the A/C-heater control unit.
  13. Install the lower frame.
  14. Install the side box.
  15. Install the switch panel.
  16. Install the under cover.
  17. Install the instrument panel ornament.
  18. Install the bezel and the instrument cluster.
  19. Install the steering column cover.
  20. Install the driver’s air bag module and clock spring.
