Throttle position sensor adjustment with special tool MB991348
Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector and connect special tool MB991348 in between the sensor and wiring harness connector. (All terminals should be connected.)
Connect a digital voltmeter between throttle position sensor terminal No. 2 (sensor output) and terminal No. 4 (sensor ground).
Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
Measure the throttle position sensor output voltage. Correct voltage should be 535 - 735 mV.
if not within the correct voltage range, adjust by loosening throttle position sensor mounting bolts and turning the throttle position sensor body. Tighten the bolts securely after adjusting.
