Instrument Panel

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

CAUTION
Do not knock or drop the SRS-ECU. Refer to air bag precautions before removing the driver’s or passenger’s air bags.

  1. Remove the glove box assembly.
  2. Remove the hood release handle.
  3. Remove the right and left under covers.
  4. Remove the center panel.
  5. Remove the audio unit accessory box and audio unit.
  6. Remove the console meter hood.
  7. Remove the passenger’s air bag off indicator and seat belt warning light.
  8. Remove the multi center display or clock hole box, as equipped.
  9. Remove the center console.
  10. Remove the instrument panel garnish.
  11. Remove the instrument cluster.
  12. Remove the A-pillar trim.
  13. Remove the front speaker trim and tweeters.
  14. Remove the instrument panel side covers.
  15. Remove the side air outlets.
  16. Remove the driver air bag and steering wheel assembly.
  17. Remove the steering column covers.
  18. Remove the inside temp sensor if equipped.
  19. Remove the front end trim.
  20. Remove the photo sensor if equipped.
  21. Remove the stay.
  22. Remove the floor console.
  23. Remove the kick panel trim.
  24. Remove the instrument panel assembly.

To Install:

  1. Install the instrument panel assembly.
  2. Install the kick panel trim.
  3. Install the floor console.
  4. Install the stay.
  5. Install the photo sensor if equipped.
  6. Install the front end trim.
  7. Install the inside temp sensor if equipped.
  8. Install the steering column covers.
  9. Install the steering wheel assembly and driver’s air bag.
  10. Install the side air outlets.
  11. Install the instrument panel side covers.
  12. Install the front speaker trim and tweeters.
  13. Install the A-pillar trim.
  14. Install the instrument cluster.
  15. Install the instrument panel garnish.
  16. Install the center console.
  17. Install the multi center display or clock hole box, as equipped.
  18. Install the passenger’s air bag off indicator and seat belt warning light.
  19. Install the console meter hood.
  20. Install the audio unit accessory box and audio unit.
  21. Install the center panel.
  22. Install the right and left under covers.
  23. Install the hood release handle.
  24. Install the glove box assembly.
