Instrument Panel

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

  1. Remove the center console.
  2. Remove the glove box assembly.
  3. Remove the instrument panel side cover.
  4. Remove the instrument panel parcel box.
  5. Remove the upper A-pillar trim.
  6. Remove the front speakers.
  7. Remove the passenger’s air bag module.
  8. Remove the upper center cover.
  9. Remove the multi-center display.
  10. Remove the instrument panel center panel.
  11. Remove the audio unit.
  12. Remove the hood release handle.
  13. Remove the switch panel.
  14. Remove the instrument panel lower left panel assembly.
  15. Remove the driver’s air bag, steering wheel and steering column covers.
  16. Disconnect the connectors from the column switch and clock spring.
  17. Remove the instrument cluster.
  18. Remove the kick panel trim.
  19. Remove the instrument panel assembly.

NOTE: Move the instrument panel slightly and disconnect the photo sensor connector. Then remove the instrument panel.

To Install:

  1. Install the instrument panel assembly.
  2. Install the kick panel trim.
  3. Install the instrument cluster.
  4. Connect the connectors to the column switch and clock spring.
  5. Install the driver’s air bag, steering wheel and steering column covers.
  6. Install the instrument panel lower left panel assembly.
  7. Install the switch panel.
  8. Install the hood release handle.
  9. Install the audio unit.
  10. Install the instrument panel center panel.
  11. Install the multi-center display.
  12. Install the upper center cover.
  13. Install the passenger’s air bag module.
  14. Install the front speakers.
  15. Install the upper A-pillar trim.
  16. Install the instrument panel parcel box.
  17. Install the instrument panel side cover.
  18. Install the glove box assembly.
  19. Install the center console.
