Catalytic Converter

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

1. Remove the converter lower shield.
2. Disconnect converter from front pipe.
3. Disconnect converter from center pipe or tail pipe assembly.
4. Remove catalytic converter.

   NOTE: Assemble all parts loosely and position the converter before tightening the exhaust clamps.

   To install:

5. Position the converter in place and install the mounting bolts to the front and tail pipes. Always use new clamps and exhaust gaskets.
6. Install the converter lower shield.
7. Start the engine and check for leaks.
