- Raise the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
- Soak all nuts and bolts at the converter and muffler connections with penetrating
oil.
- Disconnect the pipe at the converter.
- While supporting the pipe, disconnect it at the muffler and remove it.
To install:
- Position the pipe and connect it to the muffler, using new exhaust gaskets
at all disassembled junctions.
- Connect the pipe to the converter and then install any other mounting brackets
or hardware.
