Check for continuity of the ISCM coil, that is, between terminals 1 and
2 of the ISCM. The continuity should be 5–35 ohms at 68°F (20°C)
from terminal 1 to terminal 2.
Connect a 6V DC power source between terminal 1 and 2 of the ISCM harness
plug, and check to be sure that the ISCM operates.
WARNING
Apply only a 6V DC or lower voltage power source. Application of a higher
voltage could cause locking of the servo gears.
If the ISCM fails any of these tests, replace the whole ISCM assembly with
a new unit.
