- Loosen the bleeder screw and drain the clutch fluid.
- Disconnect the pushrod at the clutch pedal by removing the cotter pin, and
pulling out the clevis pin.
- Disconnect the hydraulic tube at the master cylinder. Remove the master
cylinder.
- Discard the old master cylinder gasket, a new one will be needed for reassembly.
- When reinstalling, mount the cylinder (with a new gasket) and tighten the
bolts to 10 ft. lbs (14 Nm).
- Connect the pushrod to the pedal, using a new cotter pin.
- Connect the hydraulic tube to the cylinder and tighten it to 11 ft. lbs.
(15 Nm).
- Refill and bleed the system.
