<High pressure side>
| caution | To prevent damage to the M.U.T.-IIISE, always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting the M.U.T.-IIISE. |
1. Connect the M.U.T.-IIISE to the diagnosis connector.
2. Start the engine and run at idle.
3. Check "Item No. 124: Fuel rail pressure sensor (Absolute)" from the M.U.T.-IIISE data list.
4. When the data list item 124 reaches approximately 4 MPa, turn the ignition switch to "LOCK" (OFF) position and wait until the engine is cool.
5. Disconnect the M.U.T.-IIISE.
| caution | Cover the hose connection with rags to prevent splash of fuel that could be caused by some residual pressure in the fuel pipe line. |
6. Cover the connection between the fuel pump (high pressure) and fuel delivery intermediate pipe with a waste cloth.
7. Loosen the fuel delivery intermediate pipe at the fuel pump (high pressure).
