FUNCTION
  • The number of times that the engine-ECU monitors the starter is driven.
 
 
TROUBLE JUDGEMENT
Check Condition
  • Ignition switch is "ON" position.
Judgement Criterion
  • Starter drive frequency is 200,000 times.
 
 
FAIL-SAFE AND BACKUP FUNCTION
  • In the normal operation, the auto stop is prohibited.
 
 
PROBABLE CAUSE
  • Exceeded starter drive frequency
 
 
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. M.U.T.-IIISE diagnosis code
  • Reconfirmation of diagnosis code.
Is the diagnosis code set?
Replace the starter then perform the starter counter initialisation (Refer to GROUP 00 - Precautions Before Service - Learning Procedure For Starter Counter ).
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions ).
