STEP 1. M.U.T.-IIISE data list
STEP 2. Perform voltage measurement at fuel pressure sensor connector.
- Disconnect connector, and measure at harness side.
- Ignition switch: ON
- Voltage between terminal engine-ECU HFPS line and body earth.
OK: 4.9 - 5.1 V
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 5.
Go to Step 3.
STEP 3. Check of open circuit in HFPS line between fuel pressure sensor connector and engine-ECU connector.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 4.
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.
STEP 4. M.U.T.-IIISE data list
STEP 5. Perform resistance measurement at fuel pressure sensor connector.
- Disconnect connector, and measure at harness side.
- Resistance between terminal engine-ECU HFPG line and body earth.
OK: Continuity (2 Ω or less)
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 7.
Go to Step 6.
STEP 6. Check of open circuit, and damage in HFPG line between fuel pressure sensor connector and engine-ECU connector.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 4.
Repair the connector(s) or wiring harness.
STEP 7. M.U.T.-IIISE data list
STEP 8. Replace the delivery pipe (high pressure) (integrated with fuel pressure sensor)
- After replacing the delivery pipe (high pressure) (integrated with fuel pressure sensor), reconfirm whether the diagnosis code is set.
Is the diagnosis code set?
Replace the engine-ECU.
Check end.
