Code No.C1559 Lost Communication of Wheel speed information
| caution | - If there is any problem in the CAN bus lines, an incorrect diagnosis code may be set. Prior to this diagnosis, diagnose the CAN bus lines (Refer to GROUP 54C, CAN Bus Diagnostics Table
 ). - Whenever ECU is replaced, ensure that the CAN bus lines are normal.

OPERATION
The EPS-ECU receives the wheel speed information from the ASC-ECU.
FUNCTION
Based on the wheel speed information the EPS-ECU receives, the EPS-ECU performs the control to improve the steering wheel return.
TROUBLE JUDGEMENT
Check Conditions
- The power supply circuit system diagnosis code (No. C1540, C1541) is not set.
Judgement Criterion
- When wheel speed information cannot be received from the ASC-ECU.
Fail Safe, Back Up Function
- The EPS-ECU sets diagnosis code No. C1559.
- Aggravated feeling of steerage
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Malfunction of the ASC-ECU
- Malfunction of the EPS-ECU
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
1. Check if ASC-ECU sets diagnosis code (GROUP 35C - Troubleshooting ). 2. Replace the EPS-ECU (Refer to ).
