REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
 
 
Pre-removal and post-installation operation
  • Tailgate spoiler (Refer to GROUP 51, Tailgate Spoiler ).
  • Rear wiper blade and arm assembly removal and installation (Refer to GROUP 51, Rear Wiper and Washer ).
  • Tailgate trim removal and installation (Refer to GROUP 52A, Tailgate Trim ).

Remove the tailgate window glass or tailgate window extra glass by the same procedures as for the windshield glass (Refer to ).
noteUse a piano wire to remove the tailgate window glass or tailgate extra window glass.
 
 
 
 
INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS
 
 
>>A<< GLASS STOPPER/SPACER/CLIP/DUAL LOCK FASTENER INSTALLATION
1. Use the parts cleaner (MZ100387 or equivalent) to degrease the inside circumference of the tailgate window glass or tailgate extra window glass and tailgate flanges.
2.
 
 
Install the spacer, clip, glass stopper and dual lock fastener to the specified position on the tailgate window glass or tailgate extra window glass.

1. Apply the primer and adhesive.
2. Install the tailgate window glass or by the same procedure as for the windshield glass (refer to ).
