PASSENGER’S AIR BAG CUT OFF SWITCH CONTINUITY CHECK
 
cautionDo not insert a test probe into the terminal from its front side directly as the connector contact pressure may be weakened.

PASSENGER’S AIR BAG OFF INDICATOR LAMP
1. Remove the hazard warning lamp switch assembly (Refer to GROUP 52A - Instrument centre panel ).
 
2. Connect the positive battery terminal with the hazard warning lamp switch connector terminal No. 7. Then, check if the passenger's air bag OFF indicator lamp is illuminated when the negative battery terminal and the hazard warning lamp switch connector terminal No. 11 are connected.
3. When the passenger's air bag OFF indicator lamp is illuminated, the result is judged as good.
 

 
 
PASSENGER’S AIR BAG ON INDICATOR LAMP
1. Remove the hazard warning lamp switch (Refer to GROUP 52A - Instrument centre panel ).
 
2. Connect the positive battery terminal with the hazard warning lamp switch connector terminal No. 7. Then, check if the passenger's air bag ON indicator lamp is illuminated when the negative battery terminal and the hazard warning lamp switch connector terminal No. 4 are connected.
3. When the passenger's air bag ON indicator lamp is illuminated, the result is judged as good.
