It is extremely important that the proper lubricant level be maintained at all times in the automatic transaxle. A level which is either too high or too low will result in poor shifting operation and internal damage.
NOTE: Unlike the standard transaxle, the lubricant supply in the automatic transaxle is separate from that in the drive axle. To check the level in the drive axle refer to the appropriate procedure in this section.
