DRAIN AND REFILL

  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface, turn the engine OFF and apply parking brake.
  2. Raise the vehicle and support it with jackstands.

  3. Place a container of adequate capacity beneath the drain plug located at the bottom, center of the transaxle case.
  4. Remove the drain plug and allow the fluid to drain.
  5. After draining, replace the drain plug and gasket. do not overtighten.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Remove the transaxle dipstick and using a funnel fill the transaxle through the dipstick hole with the proper amount of automatic transmission fluid (see the Capacities chart).
  8. Check the fluid level and road test the vehicle to insure proper transaxle operation.
