To insure proper performance of the ECC system, make sure all vacuum and air hoses are connected tightly. Check the air lines and hoses to make sure no cracks, splits or hardening exists. Replace any vacuum line or hose that is suspect. Check all electrical connections for tightness. Check all electrical wiring for cuts or burns. Repair as necessary.
