Electric Fuel Pump

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

1. Loosen the fuel pump bracket-to-chassis nuts or bolts and lower the pump; be careful not to lose any washers or cushions.
2. Remove the fuel delivery hoses from the fuel pump.
3. Disengage the electrical harness connector from the fuel pump.
4. Remove the pump.
5. Inspect the fuel pump; if found to be defective, it should be replaced.

   To install:

6. Reverse the removal procedures. Be sure the ground wire does not contact the pump body or the unit may vibrate. Start the engine and check for leaks.
