- Raise the front end of the car and support it with jackstands.
- Remove the front wheels.
- Remove the cotter pin and castle nut from the tie rod end stud. Detach the
tie rod end using a suitable puller or extracting tool.
- Reverse the above process to install the tie rod ends.
- Torque the castle nut to 20 ft. lbs. (27 Nm).
