REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Rear Quarter Window

HATCHBACK

1. Remove the hinge covers by prying them off with a screwdriver.

   Fig. 2: . . . while an assistant holds the glass

2. Open the glass halfway and remove the lock retaining fasteners.
3. Remove the hinge set screws.
4. Remove the glass.
5. Remove the hinge plates and lock assembly from the glass.
6. Remove the weatherstrip.

   To install:

7. Install the weatherstrip.
8. Install the hinge plates and lock assemblies.
9. Install the glass and temporarily fasten the set screws, then make sure the glass is positioned properly.
10. Fasten the set screws and the lock retaining fasteners.
11. Install the hinge covers.

Rear Quarter Window

SEDAN AND NOTCHBACK

1. Remove the inner trim.
2. Remove the rear pillar moulding or opera grille.
3. Remove the rear quarter glass in the same manner as the windshield as outlined in this section.
4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
