The lubricant supply in the automatic transaxle is separate from that in the drive axle. The fluid level should be checked at regular intervals and should be changed every 30,000 miles (48,300 km). If the vehicle is frequently operated under severe conditions the lubricant should be changed at 15,000 mile (24,000 km) intervals.
