REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the connector from the MAP sensor.
3. Remove the harness from the sensor.
4. Using a suitable wrench, loosen and remove the MAP sensor from the intake manifold.
5. Installation is the reverse of removal. Apply a thin layer of Teflon® tape to the threads of the MAP sensor and tighten to 3–5 ft. lbs. (47 Nm).
