TESTING

1. Switch the ignition ON.
2. Measure the voltage at the MAP sensor terminals with the harness plugged in. Measure the voltage from the harness side.
   • Terminals 3 and 1: 3.4–3.8 volts.
   • Terminals 3 and 2: 3.4–3.8 volts.
3. Start the engine and measure the MAP sensor terminal voltage again.
   • Terminals 3 and 1: 1.6–2.1 volts.
   • Terminals 3 and 2: 1.6–2.1 volts.
4. Replace the MAP sensor if voltage readings are out of range.
