Rear Window Wiper Motor

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the wiper arm.
  3. Remove the wiper shaft cap nut and cushion.
  4. Remove the rear hatch interior trim cover.
  5. At the wiper motor, disconnect the electrical harness.
  6. Remove the wiper motor retainer bolts.
  7. Remove the wiper motor.
  8. Install the wiper motor inside the hatch assembly. Insert and tighten the retainer bolts to 39–62 inch lbs. (4–7 Nm).
  9. The remainder of installation is the reverse of removal.
  10. Connect the negative battery cable. Check for proper wiper operation.
