REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Raise and support the front of the vehicle on jackstands.
Remove the left front wheel.
Remove the front half portion of the mud guard.
Disconnect the air lines from the drier assembly. The lines do not have to be tagged, because the installation order is not important.
Disconnect the wire harness to the compressor.
Remove the compressor and drier mounting nuts and bolts.
Remove the compressor and drier as an assembly.
Installation is the reverse of removal. Secure the compressor bracket nuts to 7–13 ft. lbs. (9–17 Nm). Tighten the bolts to 4–7 ft. lbs. (5–9 Nm).
Attach the air lines to the drier. The order or position does not matter.
Start the vehicle and make sure the compressor works.
