To Remove:
WARNING
The radiator is pressurized. Wait until the engine cools down before working on the radiator.
- Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Safely raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the under cover.
- Drain the engine coolant completely.
- Remove or disconnect the following:
| Fan Motor Connectors
|
- Radiator main fan motor and sub fan motor connectors
| ATF Cooler Pipes
|
- ATF cooler hose from ATF pipe and plug the openings in the hose and radiator with caps (A/T model)
| Radiator Outlet Hose
|
- Radiator outlet hose from thermostat cover
| Air Intake Duct
|
- Air intake duct
- V-belt covers
| Overflow Hose
|
- Overflow hose
- Reservoir tank
| Upper Hose and Brackets
|
- Upper radiator inlet hose
- Radiator upper brackets
- Radiator from vehicle
To Install:
| Radiator Lower Cushions
|
- Place radiator mounting cushions on radiator support.
- Install or connect the following:
Note: Fit the pins on lower side of radiator into the cushions on body side.
- Radiator to vehicle
| Upper Hose and Brackets
|
- Radiator brackets
- Radiator inlet hose
- Water tank hose
- Reservoir tank
- V-belt cover
| Air Intake Duct
|
- Air intake duct
| ATF Cooler Pipes
|
- ATF cooler hoses (AT model)
| Radiator Outlet Hose
|
- Radiator outlet hose
- Radiator main fan motor and sub fan motor connectors
- Under cover
- Battery ground cable to battery
- Fill engine coolant.
- Check the ATF level.
To Remove:
- Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Safely raise and support the vehicle.
- Drain engine coolant.
- Remove or disconnect the following:
- Radiator main fan (1) and sub fan (2) motor connectors
- Radiator outlet hose from thermostat cover
- ATF cooler hoses (2) from the radiator (AT vehicles only)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Remove or disconnect the following:
- Over flow hose
- Reservoir tank
- Radiator inlet hose from the engine
- Radiator upper brackets
- Power steering hose from the the clip on the radiator
- Radiator up and away from the vehicle
To Install:
- Install or connect the following:
- Safely raise and support the vehicle.
- Install or connect the following:
- Radiator outlet hose
- ATF cooler hoses (AT vehicles only)
- Connectors to the radiator main fan motor and sub fan motor
- Under cover
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the battery ground cable.
- Fill coolant.
- Check ATF level.
