Thermostat

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Safely raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Under cover
   • Engine coolant

     Radiator Outlet Hose

   • Radiator outlet hose

     Thermostat and Housing

   • Thermostat housing and gasket
   • Thermostat

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:

   Thermostat and Housing

   • Thermostat in water pump (with the jiggle pin (A) facing to front side)
   • Thermostat cover together with a new gasket

     Radiator Outlet Hose

   • Radiator outlet hose
   • Engine coolant
   • Under cover
2. Lower the vehicle.
