Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Ground cable from battery

     MAP sensor

   • Manifold absolute pressure sensor connectors
   • Manifold absolute pressure sensor from the throttle body

To Install:

Note: Replace the O-rings for the manifold absolute pressure sensor with new ones.

1. Install or connect the following:

   MAP sensor

   • Manifold absolute pressure sensor from the throttle body
     1. Torque to: 1.2 ft. lbs. (1.6 Nm)
   • Manifold absolute pressure sensor connectors
   • Ground cable from battery
