Cruise Control

Cruise Control Precautions

WARNING
Do not use the cruise control on slippery roads, steeply graded roads, or in heavy traffic of heavy or varying volume. Failure to follow these CAUTIONS could possibly cause you to loose control of the vehicle and result in damage to the vehicle and personal injury.

WARNING
Road test a vehicle under safe conditions and while obeying all traffic laws.

Cruise control is a device that maintains your cruising speed in highway driving conditions. The system uses information from the ECM and speed sensors to determine a rate of speed that must be maintained when set. In addition to maintaining speed, the cruise control can be used to slow the vehicle (coast mode) or increase the speed as needed.
