Removal & Installation

Cruise Control Module

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Battery ground cable

   • Side sill front cover
   • Cruise control module connector
   • Cruise control module

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Cruise control module and connector
   • Side sill front cover
   • Battery ground cable

Cruise Control Servo

To Remove:

CAUTION
You can damage the actuator by applying an excessive load to the cable when adjusting. Be careful not to sharply bend the cable.

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Battery ground cable
   • Cruise control cable clips
   • Cruise control cable to throttle cam nuts
   • Cruise control cable from throttle cam
   • Bolts and connector for actuator

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Actuator bolts and connector
   • Cruise control cable to throttle cam
   • Cruise control clips
   • Battery ground cable
